Meet the Artist!

   Hello! My name is Amanda Garner and I am an inspiring and upcoming Special Makeup Effects and Cosmetic Beauty makeup artist! I have been learning and doing Special Effects work for over 5 years. My work represents the world of beauty and horror. My biggest interests are face/body paint, Beauty and Fashion, Special Effects and cosplay! I love variety and I want my work to show that I can do more than one specific thing.

   My interest started in horror movies and being fascinated with the behind the scenes work and the entire process of what made movies the way they are today. When I learned people could go to school for this and make a career for it, I knew immediately what I wanted to do with my future. I love being able to conjure up something in my mind and having the ability to physically make it a reality. My parents, who are just as obsessed as I am with special effects and the world it takes place in, encouraged and supported me to take this passion head on and pursue it to the fullest.

   My mission as a makeup artist is to provide and ensure outstanding patience, imagination, creativity and care to all my clients and pieces. I hope to work with you soon and provide the best of myself to each and every project I complete!
